{"id":33748,"date":"2023-02-08T17:58:32","date_gmt":"2023-02-08T17:58:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kup.edu.ua\/department-of-computer-technologies\/work-of-the-information-technology-centre\/"},"modified":"2023-02-08T17:58:32","modified_gmt":"2023-02-08T17:58:32","slug":"work-of-the-information-technology-centre","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/kup.edu.ua\/en\/department-of-computer-technologies\/work-of-the-information-technology-centre\/","title":{"rendered":"Work of the Information Technology Centre"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li>Addressing theoretical and applied issues relating to the digitalisation of the University\u2019s educational process and administrative and operational activities.<\/li>\n<li>Developing measures to ensure the quality of higher education at the University and its integration into the European and global education community.<\/li>\n<li>Modernising and developing KUL NASU information technologies, including:\n<ul>\n<li>the local network;<\/li>\n<li>the server infrastructure;<\/li>\n<li>the electronic library;<\/li>\n<li>distance education;<\/li>\n<li>the computer classroom.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Modernising and developing the University\u2019s electronic resource system, integrating bibliographic, abstract, and full-text legal resources.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing instructional, methodological, and organisational materials on the digitalisation of KUL NASU educational, administrative, and operational activities;<\/li>\n<li>Implementing measures to improve University employees\u2019 qualifications in creating and using electronic information resources.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>In carrying out its activities, the Centre performs the following functions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Research activities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>studying the University\u2019s educational processes as an object of digitalisation and developing models for introducing the latest information technologies into the educational process and administrative and operational activities.<\/li>\n<li>establishing a theoretical basis for using information technologies to develop the University\u2019s education system, adapt it to a socially oriented economy, and support its transformation and integration into the European and global education community.<\/li>\n<li>establishing a theoretical basis for developing and introducing distance learning technologies or their individual elements into the educational process;<\/li>\n<li>establishing a theoretical basis for building and developing the University\u2019s electronic library.<\/li>\n<li>participating in international cooperation concerning the use of information technologies in the educational process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Research and production activities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>providing software and technical support for computer technologies used in the educational process and administrative and operational activities;<\/li>\n<li>providing software and technical support for the automated creation of electronic library collections;<\/li>\n<li>supporting University units in developing and introducing the latest information technologies into the educational process;<\/li>\n<li>providing software and technical support to the Distance Education Division as it develops and introduces information technologies or their individual elements into the educational process;<\/li>\n<li>maintaining the University\u2019s Internet node, the distance education system installed on it, and the electronic document collection;<\/li>\n<li>servicing the University\u2019s computer equipment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Research and methodological activities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>preparing instructional, methodological, and organisational materials concerning the digitalisation of the University;<\/li>\n<li>conducting seminars, lectures, and practical classes to improve University employees\u2019 qualifications in computer technologies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Addressing theoretical and applied issues relating to the digitalisation of the University\u2019s educational process and administrative and operational activities.
