In accordance with the University Statute, it considers the most important matters concerning the University\u2019s activities and the implementation of Ukrainian state policy in education and \/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Determines the strategy and prospective areas for developing the University\u2019s educational, research, and innovation activities.<\/li>\n<li>Submits the draft Statute and any amendments or additions to the highest collegial body of public self-government.<\/li>\n<li>Defines the system and approves procedures for internal quality assurance in higher education.<\/li>\n<li>Elects department heads, professors, associate professors, the head of the library, and heads of separate structural units through a competitive secret ballot.<\/li>\n<li>Reviews reports from department heads upon the expiry of their terms of office.<\/li>\n<li>Decides by secret ballot on awarding the academic titles of Associate Professor and Professor.<\/li>\n<li>Decides on awarding the honorary titles \u201cHonorary Professor of Kyiv University of Law\u201d and \u201cHonorary Doctor of Kyiv University of Law\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>Considers the current state and development of the University\u2019s educational, academic-methodological, research, and international activities.<\/li>\n<li>Considers the training of academic staff and the operation of postgraduate studies.<\/li>\n<li>Reviews and approves dissertation topics for the Doctor of Philosophy degree.<\/li>\n<li>Considers the preparation and publication of monographs, textbooks, teaching aids, and other research and academic-methodological literature.<\/li>\n<li>Considers nominating University staff for state prizes, awards, and distinctions.<\/li>\n<li>Decides on the organization of the educational process.<\/li>\n<li>Decides on the creation, reorganization, and dissolution of structural units.<\/li>\n<li>Reviews reports on the state of affairs in the University\u2019s structural units, including separate structural units.<\/li>\n<li>Reviews and approves educational programmes and curricula.<\/li>\n<li>Approves the format and production procedure for higher education documents, including joint and double degrees.<\/li>\n<li>Considers the quality of graduates\u2019 professional training and its further improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Considers cooperation with student self-government bodies.<\/li>\n<li>Reviews and approves the University\u2019s financial plan.<\/li>\n<li>Reviews and approves the report on the University\u2019s financial and economic performance.<\/li>\n<li>Considers the condition of the facilities and equipment, the efficiency of their use, and development prospects.<\/li>\n<li>Considers the current state and development prospects of the University\u2019s social infrastructure.<\/li>\n<li>Reviews and approves annual professional-development plans for teaching staff.<\/li>\n<li>Approves the University Admissions Regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Reviews and approves regulations governing the University\u2019s working and advisory bodies.<\/li>\n<li>Considers other matters relating to the University\u2019s activities in accordance with its Statute and the Law of Ukraine \u201cOn Higher
