It operates as an integral part of the University\u2019s educational, academic, and research activities.<\/p>\n<p>The Research and Advisory Centre of KUL NASU was established on 02 February 2015 pursuant to Order No. 3 of the Rector of Kyiv University of Law of the NAS of Ukraine dated 29 January 2015. Its work is governed by the Regulations \u201cOn the International Centre for Legal and Historical-Political Studies of Central and Eastern European Countries of KUL NASU.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Centre of KUL NASU was officially opened on 17 April 2015.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Objectives of the Centre<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Given Ukraine\u2019s aspiration to become a full member of the European Union, the Centre\u2019s principal objectives are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>to facilitate the harmonization of Ukrainian legislation with the European legal framework in the social and political, economic, cultural and educational, academic, and other areas of public life;<\/li>\n<li>to foster a national and patriotic outlook among the general public and the national elite both in Lviv Region and throughout Ukraine;<\/li>\n<li>to implement public initiatives through cooperation with central and local authorities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To fulfil these objectives, in accordance with the procedure established by applicable Ukrainian legislation and with the comprehensive support of KUL NASU, the Centre:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>organizes and conducts lectures, workshops, training sessions, conferences, meetings, and other academic, practical, and educational events;<\/li>\n<li>publishes collective monographs, teaching and methodological manuals, and collections of documents;<\/li>\n<li>facilitates the incorporation of research findings into the educational process;<\/li>\n<li>participates in drafting regulations and organizes and conducts public reviews of draft laws, programmes, decisions, and other regulatory documents;<\/li>\n<li>cooperates with Ukrainian and foreign civil-society and international non-governmental organizations, research centres, and educational institutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Lviv Research and Advisory Centre of KUL NASU is a separate research structural unit of Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
