L. Boshytskyi, V. M. Chernega, O. D. Bezzubov, O. O. Bryginets, A. Yu. Kovalchuk, I. M. Sopilko, S. Ya. Fursa, E. I. Fursa), <strong>associate professors<\/strong> (V. P. Pylypenko, I. V. Atamanchuk, I. P. Bakhnovska, M. M. Guchko, N. K. Isayeva, M. M. Igoshin, Y. G. Korostashivets, N. V. Linnyk, O. V. Melnychenko, L. V. Polunina, O. A. Radzvill, M. M. Sychuk, L. M. Shatalova, D. V. Shkrebets), <strong>senior teachers<\/strong> (O. A. Bilous, O. A. Lysak, M. V. Ponomarenko) <strong>and a teacher<\/strong> (A. O. Pekar).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The powerful professional potential of the Department of International and Private Law of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine is evidenced by the fact that its members include: <strong>four honored lawyers of Ukraine<\/strong> (Y. L. Boshytskyi, V. P. Pylypenko, I. M. Sopilko, S. Ya. Fursa); honorary consul of the Republic of Lithuania in the Poltava region, adviser to the Minister of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine on international humanitarian law (V. P. Pylypenko); <strong>member of the scientific advisory councils at the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court of Ukraine<\/strong> (I. M. Sopilko).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Associate Professor of the Department, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor I. I. Vashchynets, Senior Lecturer of the Department, Doctor of Philosophy in Law M. V. Ponomarenko, Lecturer of the Department, Candidate of Legal Sciences A. O. Pekar,<strong> combine academic activities with advocacy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Department of International and Private Law of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine conducts intellectual and creative activities in the field of higher education and science, aimed at the transfer, assimilation, multiplication and use of knowledge, skills and other competences among students<strong> at the first (bachelor&#8217;s), second (master&#8217;s) and third (<\/strong><strong>PhD) levels of higher education in specialties 081 &#8220;Law&#8221;, D8 &#8220;Law&#8221;, 293 &#8220;International Law&#8221;, D9 &#8220;International Law&#8221;. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--p>The department is headed by a candidate of legal sciences, associate professor <strong>Anastasia Borysivna Antonyuk<\/strong>.<\/p--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Department of International and Private Law<\/strong> Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Provides teaching<\/strong> international law, law of the European Union, civil law and civil process, family law, international private law, labor law and social security law, economic law and economic process, land law and many others <strong>both compulsory and elective courses, according to the profile of the department, provided by the educational-professional and educational-scientific programs &#8220;Law&#8221; and &#8220;International Law&#8221;;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Conducts scientific activity<\/strong> <strong>according to the profile of the department<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><\/strong><strong>Enhances professional competence and teaching skills<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Adheres to the norms of pedagogical ethics and morality, respects the dignity of students, instills in them a love for Ukraine, educates them in the spirit of Ukrainian patriotism and respect for the Constitution of Ukraine and state symbols of Ukraine<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Develops<\/strong> <strong>students and postgraduates<\/strong> <strong>independence, initiative, creative abilities<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Obeys the prescriptions of the laws of Ukraine<\/strong> &#8220;About education&#8221;, &#8220;About higher education&#8221;, <strong>other regulatory requirements in the field of educational activities<\/strong>, including local acts of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition, most members of the Department of International and Private Law of Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine <strong>engage in professional activities through participation in professional and public associations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Department of International Law and Branch Legal Disciplines of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine was renamed to Department of International and Private Law of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Order No. 76-OD of September 26, 2025).
