Topic: <strong>Legal and Organizational Foundations of Forensic Expert Activity in Ukraine<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The mentioned topic is extremely relevant, as the effective implementation of forensic expert activities in the context of building a legal democratic state in Ukraine requires a clear understanding of the content, features, and types, as well as the main principles of conducting forensic examinations as an important mechanism for protecting the rights and freedoms of individuals and citizens, the legitimate interests of legal entities, and the interests of the state.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"zoom\" href=\"https:\/\/kup.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/2-15.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-14001 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/kup.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/2-15-150x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kup.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/2-15-150x300.jpg 150w, https:\/\/kup.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/2-15-512x1024.jpg 512w, https:\/\/kup.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/2-15.jpg 700w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" \/><\/a>Ms. Anastasia spoke about the general principles of forensic expert activity; the issue of the independence of a forensic expert; the admissibility of using methods for conducting forensic examinations; the maximum preservation of forensic examination objects; the subjects conducting forensic examinations; the peculiarities of conducting examinations under martial law conditions.<\/p>\n<p>It should be noted that this topic sparked lively discussion among those present. In particular, discussions arose regarding issues concerning the list of types of forensic examinations and expert specialties; the list of correspondences between specialties for which higher education applicants are trained, expert specialties, and the list and scope of profile subjects for each of the expert specialties; the procedure for professional training of forensic experts; the procedure for assigning the qualification of a forensic expert; requirements regarding the organization of activities and minimum requirements for material and technical equipment necessary to conduct each type of forensic examination (requirements for the workplace of a forensic expert); the procedure for monitoring compliance by non-state by forensic expert institutions and private forensic experts of the requirements of legislation on forensic activity; rules of professional ethics of a forensic expert.<\/p>\n<p>Most students understood that the work of a forensic expert is extremely responsible, but at the same time extremely interesting.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The demand of the time is to bring theory and practice as close as possible, so it is reasonable to widely use them in various combinations during the educational process.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><strong>Press Center KUL NASU<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On March 20, 2023, a scientific-practical seminar for master&#8217;s students was held at the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, which was organized and conducted by the head of the postgraduate program, a professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure.
