Today, May 15, 2025, an extraordinary event took place within the walls of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine: a guest open lecture for higher education students of our university was conducted by the prosecutor of the Department of Procedural Oversight of Pre-Trial Investigations and Public Prosecution of the General Inspection of the Office of the Prosecutor General. Attila Kovch.
Students, graduate students, staff, and scientific-pedagogical employees of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and its separate divisions in the cities of Rivne, Vinnytsia, Lviv, and Uzhhorod today had a unique opportunity to receive detailed information from a member of the executive staff of the Office of the Prosecutor General about the prospects for the development and reform of Ukraine’s law enforcement system from his report on the topic: “Modern models of law enforcement activity.”
The relevance of the topic of the honorary speaker’s report upon its completion sparked a flurry of questions, which the attendees in a hybrid format at the scientific event—postgraduate students and staff of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and its separate structural divisions—had the exclusive opportunity to ask the speaker, which, in turn, led to an active scientific discussion.
At the end of the scientific and educational event, the rector of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, spoke. Yuriy Boshytskyi, who summarized the meeting, thanked the speaker and the participants, noting that today’s open guest lecture, conducted by the esteemed guest of our university, became another in the series of events aimed at reviving the glorious tradition of Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine regarding the implementation of the university’s creative project ‘Dialogues of Famous Personalities with the Students of Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine’.
