During distance learning, the Library provides an expanded range of services that can be accessed remotely.
During distance learning, you may visit the Library to ask librarians for assistance, borrow books for home use, and return materials to the collection. We will answer your questions about the Library, its services, and information resources.

Borrowing Materials
During distance learning, Kyiv University of Law students and staff may borrow books and other Library materials from Monday to Friday, 09:00–16:00.
The following may not be borrowed for home use:
- rare and valuable materials;
- materials held by the Library in only one copy.
Books by Post
Students, academic staff, and employees of Kyiv University of Law who are registered Library users and live outside Kyiv may order books from the Library collection for delivery by Nova Poshta or Ukrposhta.
- the service is available during distance learning;
- no more than five items may be ordered at one time;
- all postage costs are paid by the requester;
- the service is not available to users who have outstanding Library loans.
How to Use the Service
To receive Library books by post:
- place an electronic order by email atmailto:yaroshevskaya@kup.edu.ua
- collect the order from the postal service and email confirmation that the books have been received toyaroshevskaya@kup.edu.ua
Returning Materials
Books and other Library materials may be returned in any convenient way. By Nova Poshta: Kyiv, Branch No. 206, 1 Sviatoshynska Square (contact:067-696-62-14– Tetiana Yuriivna Yaroshevska); by Ukrposhta to: Research Library, Kyiv University of Law, 7-A Akademika Dobrokhotova Street, Kyiv; or directly to the Library. All postage costs are paid by the sender.
Access to Information Resources
Electronic Library Catalogue
The electronic catalogue describes materials held in the Library’s printed collection. You may order them by email and collect them from the Library. Catalogue records can also be used to prepare bibliographies for research, Master’s theses, and coursework, or recommended-reading lists for educational programmes.
Access to Local Materials in the Student Lawyer Electronic Library
Kyiv University of Law students and staff can obtain materials available only on the University Library’s local network. Submit a request by email or visit the Library with a USB drive to which the required materials can be copied.
Open-Access Educational Resources
Open-access resources are available on the Kyiv University of Law website under Educational Materials for Students and PhD Students, in the Kyiv University of Law Library subsection.

Information about whether a particular publication is available at the Kyiv University of Law Library or at other libraries in Ukraine and abroad
If you do not know which library in Ukraine or abroad holds the publication you need, send your request by email toyaroshevskaya@kup.edu.uamailto:yaroshevskaya@kup.edu.ua, providing as much information as possible about the publication, including its author, title, and year of publication.
