A meeting with the judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, Oksana Hryshchuk, took place at KUL NASU

Today, March 25, 2026, as part of the implementation of the revived creative project of the university ‘Dialogues of Famous Personalities with Students of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine,’ an extraordinary event took place within the walls of our higher education institution: during a break in her work, Doctor of Law, Professor, Judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, visited us. Students, postgraduate students, staff, and scientific-pedagogical employees of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and its separate divisions in the cities of Rivne, Vinnytsia, Lviv, and Uzhhorod today had a unique opportunity to receive detailed information from a judge of the sole body of constitutional jurisdiction ‒ the Constitutional Court of Ukraine ‒ about the role of the CCU in protecting the rights and freedoms of man and citizen in Ukraine.

The relevance of the topic of the report by the honorary speaker upon its conclusion provoked a flurry of questions, which the attendees in a hybrid format at the scientific event—comprising higher education students and staff of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and its separate structural units—had the exclusive opportunity to pose to the speaker, which, in turn, led to an active scientific discussion.

At the end of the scientific and educational event, the Vice-Rector for Research of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, spoke. Volodymyr Pylypenko, who summarized the meeting, thanked the speaker and participants, noting that today’s open guest lecture, conducted by the esteemed guest of our university, became another in a series of events aimed at reviving the glorious tradition of Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine regarding the implementation of the university’s creative project “Dialogues of Prominent Figures with Students of Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.” In addition, higher education students of KUL NASU and its separate subdivisions received from the esteemed guest an invitation to participate in a competition for the best scientific article related to the protection of human and civil rights and freedoms, announced by the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, as well as to a tour of the Constitutional Court building. of Ukraine.
