A new head of the Student Parliament was elected at the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine!

November 4, 2025

On November 4, 2025, the regular meeting of the student self-government was held at KUL NASU, organized under the leadership of the Vice-Rector for Educational and Career Guidance Work Mariia Huchko. The meeting began solemnly — with the performance of the National Anthem of Ukraine and honoring the memory of fallen soldiers with a minute of silence.

After that, the students moved on to the main question on the agenda — the election of the Student Parliament president. The leadership was contested by Veronika Kukosh second-year student majoring in Law, Vladyslav Rybak first-year student of the specialty ‘Law’ and Nazar Ilienko second-year student of the specialty ‘International Law’.

Before the vote, Nazar Ilienko demonstrated true team support, withdrew his candidacy in favor of Veronika Kukosh, and expressed his willingness to join the student parliament team as deputy head.

The voting took place in an open, democratic, and friendly atmosphere. Thirty-two student representatives participated in the elections, and as a result of the counting, a convincing victory was won by Veronika Kukosh, having received 29 votes.

The newly elected head was sincerely congratulated by the university administration, curators, and students. They wished Veronika inspiration, determination, and successful implementation of new projects aimed at the development of student life, academic initiatives, and creative ideas.

The elections once again proved that the students of KUL NASU are an active, united, and conscious community that knows how to take responsibility and strives to improve university life.

Congratulations to Veronika Kukosh on her well-deserved victory and we wish her inspiration in her work for the benefit of KUL NASU students!

Glory to Ukraine!
