
An integrated roundtable on the topic ‘Challenges among the student community: psychology and the context of resolution’ took place at KUL NASU
On October 16, 2024, an integrated round table on the topic of « was held at the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.Challenges within the student community: psychology and the context of resolution» (in English). The event became a platform for discussing important issues related to challenges in the educational environment and for revealing the psychological aspects of their resolution. First-year Bachelor’s students participated in the scientific event, and the moderators were associate professors Nataliya VESELOVSKA and senior lecturer Volodymyr PAVLOV.
During the round table, students had the opportunity to express their thoughts and experiences regarding conflict situations they encounter in everyday life. The discussion was filled with various points of view, which demonstrated the relevance of the issue and the need to study it.
This event became an excellent example of integrating various disciplines — foreign language, psychology, deontology, sociology, and conflict studies — to enhance students’ practical knowledge and skills. Participants emphasized that such a combination of knowledge helps to better understand the complexities of interpersonal relationships and find effective solutions.
The atmosphere of the round table was friendly and open, which facilitated active discussion and the exchange of ideas. Participants noted that such events are important for the development of communication skills, the formation of critical thinking, and the ability to cooperate.
Thus, the integrated roundtable not only increased students’ awareness of the psychology of contemporary challenges, but also became an important step towards creating a healthy learning environment in which respect and understanding are the basis for successful coexistence.
