At KUL NASU, a guest lecture was held by the famous diplomat, public servant, and public figure of Ukraine, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador Grigol Katamadze
Today, September 18, 2025, as part of the implementation of the initiative revived by the rector, professor Yuriy Boshytskyi As part of the university’s creative project ‘Dialogues of Famous Personalities with Students of Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine,’ an extraordinary event took place within the walls of Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine: we were visited by an honorary guest ‒ a well-known diplomat, civil servant, former Deputy Head of ARMA for European Integration, public figure of Ukraine, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador Grigol Katamadze, who conducted a master class for the higher education students of our university and academic staff on the topic: “Problems of Modern International Law Through the Eyes of a Diplomat”.
Students, graduate students, employees, and academic staff of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine today had a unique opportunity to receive a professional assessment from the report of the esteemed Mr. Grigol Katamadze regarding the pressing problems and challenges faced by international law at the current stage of its historical development.
The relevance of the report topic, upon its completion, provoked a flurry of questions, which the attendees of the scientific event — higher education seekers and staff of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine — had the exclusive opportunity to ask the speaker, which, in turn, led to an active scientific discussion.
At the end of the scientific and educational event, the rector of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine Yuriy Boshytsky, spoke, summarizing the meeting, thanking the speaker as well as all attendees, noting that today’s master class, conducted by the esteemed guest of our university, became another in the series of events aimed at reviving the glorious tradition of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, regarding the implementation of the university’s creative project ‘Dialogues of Famous Personalities with Students of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.’ The event concluded with the traditional group photo of the honorary guest with the students and representatives of the university’s scientific and pedagogical staff.
