At KUL NASU, the awarding of the Diploma of a full member (academician) of the Academy of Political and Legal Sciences of Ukraine took place

On July 10, 2026, within the walls of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the rector of the university, vice president of the Academy of Political and Legal Sciences of Ukraine Yuriy Boshytskyi on behalf of the President of the Academy of Political and Legal Sciences of Ukraine, academician Petro Myronenko, handed over Diploma of a full member (academician) of the Academy of Political and Legal Sciences of Ukraine (No. AA-172) Doctor of Legal Sciences, managing partner of the law association ‘Leader of Law’, professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Process at the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine To Ivan Kyle.

According to the decision of the Academic Council of the Academy of Political and Legal Sciences of Ukraine dated March 17, 2026 (protocol No. 3/26), Ivan Kailo was elected a full member (academician) of the Academy of Political and Legal Sciences of Ukraine. The diploma was presented only now due to the first opportunity for a personal meeting.

During the meeting, the rector of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Yuriy Boshytsky, and Ivan Kaylo discussed the prospects for further cooperation between the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Academy of Political and Legal Sciences of Ukraine. In particular, they talked about joint participation in the preparation of scientific monographs, involvement in the work of the legal clinic ‘Phoenix’ at KUL NASU, as well as further cooperation with the specialized publication — ‘Kyiv University of Law Journal,’ of which Ivan Kaylo is a member of the editorial board.
