At RI KUL NASU, the XI All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference ‘Modern Problems of Humanities: Worldview and Legal Approaches, Communicative and Pedagogical Strategies’ took place
She confirmed the extraordinary relevance of the stated issues and the continuity of the scientific tradition that has developed in the institute. The participants of the scientific forum included representatives from more than twenty higher education institutions of Ukraine – doctors and candidates of sciences from various fields of the humanities, postgraduate students, public figures, volunteers, and higher education seekers. Opening the conference, the rector of KUL NASU Yuriy Boshytskyi He noted that under conditions of intensified social dynamics and turbulence, and the emergence of new challenges, modern society requires increased attention to humanitarian issues, which place human interests at the center of researchers’ studies. In this aspect, the object-subject field of the humanities significantly expands and aims to encompass both the problems of the inner world of a person and the external space in which a person interacts with society through various cultural connections and practical activities.
The conference participants seriously and concernedly analyzed the threats and challenges currently faced by the humanities. In particular, it was noted that the existing crisis of the humanitarian space of society in the context of armed conflict further underscores the need to protect life as a fundamental human right.

Despite the alarm signals and the wailing of sirens, the conference still took place. Based on the results of a broad discussion, the conference participants reached a consensus that the further socio-cultural development of Ukraine is directly linked to the formation of a new humanitarian paradigm, whose foundational principles should be an anthropocentric component that determines the strategy for the development of the humanistic content of contemporary processes aimed at shaping a holistic personality and its capacity for creative activity.
