Attention! On April 23, 2026, the offline quest ‘My First Forensic Investigation’ starts

With the aim of promoting legal education among school youth within the framework of career guidance activities, it invites students of grades 9-11 of general secondary education institutions to participate offline in quest ‘My First Forensic Investigation’, which introduces students to the basics of forensic science (practical study of the structure and properties of papillary patterns on fingers and palms for identification purposes). As part of the quest:

• familiarization with dactyloscopy as a branch of forensic science and the mechanisms of formation of human hand papillary pattern traces;
• the history of the creation of fingerprint records, fingerprint cards, and fingerprint formulas;
• practical session on recording human fingerprints and creating individual dactyloscopic cards (participants take the cards);
• practicum on detection, recording, and collection of traces of papillary patterns of hands on various objects (tables, glass, etc.);
• awarding active participants and presenting certificates.

Every student will receive a participant certificate!
