University Develops Career Guidance Partnerships with Talented and Secondary Schools

September 18, 2026

Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine is developing a new, systematic approach to career guidance, helping prospective students make informed choices about their future professions.

As part of this strategy, Vice-Rector for Student Development and Career Guidance Hanna Hurina attended a specialist webinar organised by the leading educational and career guidance platform «Talented». The event explored modern tools for assessing teenagers’ potential, analysing the labour market and developing individual learning pathways for school pupils.

Participants discussed the challenges school leavers face when choosing a field of study. The webinar presented integrated digital solutions combining aptitude testing, analytics and practical introductions to different professions.

Following the webinar, the University identified new priorities for its career guidance work:

  • Developing a three-way partnership: bringing together schools, the Talented career guidance platform and the University to support older school pupils throughout the admissions process.
  • Integrating modern methods: using the platform’s innovative assessments and analytical tools to identify pupils’ aptitudes for law, management and international economic activity.
  • Strengthening links with secondary schools: organising joint career guidance programmes, training sessions and workshops for pupils at schools and lyceums in Kyiv and other regions.

‘Our aim is to turn career guidance from a formality into a meaningful, informed process. Working with innovative platforms such as Talented and building close relationships with schools will help us attract motivated applicants with strong potential and a clear understanding of their professional goals’, said Vice-Rector for Student Development and Career Guidance Hanna Hurina.
