Continuation of the working meetings of the KUL NASU rector in the Uzhgorod region
As part of a business trip to the Uzhhorod branch of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the rector of the university, professor Yuriy Boshytskyi held working meetings with the deans of two faculties of the State Higher Educational Institution ‘Uzhhorod National University’ – the Dean of the Faculty of International Economic Relations, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor by Mykola Palinchak and Dean of the Faculty of Law, corresponding member of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor Yaroslav Lazur.
During the meeting with Professor Mykola Palinchak, the Rector of KUL NASU became acquainted with the history of the Faculty of International Economic Relations, its educational and scientific activities, modern material and technical base, and prospects for further development. The presented experience of the faculty, its achievements, and the high level of organization of the educational process made an extremely positive impression.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current challenges in the development of higher education, strengthening international cooperation, the implementation of innovative educational approaches, as well as the prospects for the implementation of joint scientific and publishing projects.
As a sign of respect and strengthening of partnership relations, Rector Yuriy Boshytskyi handed over scientific and educational-methodical publications prepared by the faculty of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine to the faculty. An agreement was also reached regarding the involvement of the faculty’s scientists in international economic relations in the preparation and publication of joint scientific literature in cooperation with KUL NASU and partners.
Considering the commonality of scientific interests in the field of international law and international relations, the parties expressed interest in developing further academic contacts, holding joint scientific events, and implementing inter-university initiatives.
The rector of KUL NASU held a separate working meeting with the Dean of the Faculty of Law of Uzhhorod National University, Corresponding Member of the NAPS of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor Yaroslav Lazur. During the professional discussion, current issues of the development of modern legal education and science, improvement of lawyer training, interaction between science and the educational process, as well as the prospects of joint participation in scientific conferences, academic exchanges, and publishing projects were discussed.
The meetings held became an important step towards expanding cooperation between the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and Uzhhorod National University, opening new opportunities for the implementation of joint educational, scientific, and international initiatives.
