Excursion of KUL NASU higher education students to the Center for Forensic Expertise and Expert Research

On March 27, 2026, an educational excursion to the Center for Forensic Expertise and Expert Research was held for the students of Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

The West confirmed the validity of the memorandum of cooperation between the university and the Center, demonstrating the effectiveness of the partnership and providing students with opportunities for internships, research, and practical training.

The event was initiated by a Doctor of Law, Professor, Iryna Sopilko, which actively supports the implementation of practice-oriented forms of learning and promotes the professional development of future lawyers.

The excursion was attended by first- and third-year students. The accompaniment and organizational support were provided by an associate professor of the Department of General Theoretical Legal and Socio-Humanitarian Disciplines. Olena Romanova.

The tour for students was conducted by the head of the State Enterprise Center of Forensic Expertise and Expert Research Ihor Starodubov, who acquainted them with the key areas of the institution’s activities, the organization of expert work, and the importance of forensic examination for ensuring justice.

During the event, the applicants became acquainted with the specifics of conducting various types of forensic examinations and had the opportunity to ask questions to specialists and receive comprehensive answers.

Such events contribute to deepening the professional knowledge of the students, broaden their worldview, and form an understanding of the practical aspects of future legal activities.
