
For the 30th anniversary of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, a collective monograph was published
At the beginning of 2026 in an international scientific publishing house «Baltija Publishing» (Riga, Latvia) a collective scientific monograph was published “Current Issues in the Development of Ukrainian Legal Education and Science in the Modern Conditions and Post-War Reconstruction”, dedicated to 30th anniversary of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
Monograph volume 444 pages It was the result of large-scale scientific collaboration and brought together fundamental research of leading Ukrainian legal scholars, lecturers, practitioners, and young researchers. The publication is a significant contribution to the development of legal science and the understanding of the transformations occurring in the system of legal education, lawmaking, and law enforcement under martial law and in the context of Ukraine’s future post-war reconstruction.
The monograph provides a comprehensive overview of current issues:
- development higher legal education in conditions of martial law and the transformation of the legislative framework;
- professional training of personnel of the justice system of Ukraine;
- provision psychological resilience and well-being of students during the war;
- current state and development prospects legal science in Ukraine;
- international law, administrative law, criminal law, civil law, and family law issues;
- legal regime virtual assets, electronic justice, force majeure circumstances;
- protection of the rights of citizens of Ukraine to temporarily occupied territories;
- risk-oriented approaches to post-war recovery and ensuring national security.
Separate sections are devoted to European integration, the internationalization of higher education, the analysis of dissertation research in international law, as well as the establishment of the principles of the rule of law and justice.
The author team included more than 30 scientists, among whom are well-known scientists, professors, associate professors, representatives of the scientific schools of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and other scientific and educational institutions. A wide range of scientific approaches ensured the interdisciplinary nature of the monograph and a high level of scientific argumentation.
