New Joint Monograph Examines Current Issues in the Legal Regulation of Private Relations
A significant contribution to civil law scholarship appeared in summer 2026 with the publication of the comprehensive monograph ‘Current Issues in the Legal Regulation of Private Relations: Theory and Practice’,* prepared jointly by researchers from the Department of Civil Law Studies at the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Department of International and Private Law at Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The book examines contemporary challenges in regulating private relations in Ukraine during the war and in the post-war period. It offers conclusions and proposals for developing private law scholarship, legislation and its practical application. Its subject matter is relevant to civil law scholars, doctoral and postgraduate researchers, university students, those entitled to initiate legislation, law enforcement bodies and other specialists interested in contemporary private law. Its value has been recognised by distinguished Ukrainian reviewers, including: Vadym Tsiura (Doctor of Legal Sciences, Professor and Head of the Department of Civil Law at the Educational and Research Institute of Law of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv); Nataliia Parkhomenko (Doctor of Legal Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Honoured Lawyer of Ukraine and Head of the Department of Theory of State and Law at the V.
