Happy National Flag Day of Ukraine!

On 23 August, Ukraine celebrates National Flag Day, honouring one of the most important symbols of our state.

For Ukrainians, the blue-and-yellow flag is much more than a combination of two colours. It symbolises the freedom, dignity, unity and resilience of our people. Under this flag, Ukraine asserted its independence; today, its colours represent the struggle for the right to live in our own free country.

For the education and research communities, Ukraine’s national flag also symbolises responsibility for the future. Through education, research, nurturing young people and preserving historical memory, we prepare the generation that will help Ukraine grow.

Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine warmly congratulates its students, colleagues and partners on National Flag Day!

We wish you strength, unity, professional success, inspiration and confidence in the future. May the blue-and-yellow flag always fly over a free, independent, strong and peaceful Ukraine!

We honour our flag. We remember those who defend it. We believe in Ukraine!

Glory to Ukraine!
