
Representatives of KUL NASU took part in the annual ‘Transcarpathian Legal Readings’
On April 25-26 of this year, the next, already seventeenth in a row, annual scientific-practical conference took place ‘Transcarpathian Legal Readings’. This year, the Readings are dedicated to the topic of relocation under extraordinary legal regimes, which is extremely relevant for Zakarpattia in conditions of martial law and the movement into the region of a large number of enterprises and population from the central and eastern regions of our country.
During the ceremonial opening of the conference, the rector of UzhNU spoke with a welcoming word Volodymyr Smolanka, President of the National Academy of Legal Sciences Volodymyr Zhuravel, Rector of Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University Anatoliy Hetman, Head of the Transcarpathian Regional Council Roman Sarai and the first deputy of the Head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Vasyl Ivancho.
The work of the “Transcarpathian Legal Readings” began with a panel discussion “General Issues of the Theory and Practice of Relocation in the Context of Extraordinary Legal Regimes,” moderated by the Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Conference, Dean of the Faculty of Law of UzhNU Yaroslav Lazur. The panel included a judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, a corresponding member of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine Vasyl Lemak, Professor of the Department of Civil Law at the National University ‘Odesa Law Academy’ Iryna Davydova, Head of the Scientific and Methodological Department of the National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine Serhiy Belay, as well as the Director of the Department of Economic and Regional Development of the Zakarpattia OVA Taras TryndyakKyiv University of Law was represented in the panel discussion by the head of the Scientific and Advisory Center in Uzhhorod, KUL NASU Ivan VashchynetsThe participants discussed the most pressing legal issues of relocation under martial law.
Advisor to the Rector of KUL NASU, Professor Iryna Sopilko She took part in the plenary session of the conference on the topic ‘International Legal Regulation of the Relocation Sphere.’ Her report, dedicated to the experience of certain foreign countries in ensuring constitutional rights, aroused sincere interest and active discussion.
Based on the results of the scientific-practical conference, a collection of abstracts has been published in both paper and electronic formats.
