
Serhiy Matveyev has been elected rector of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine
On July 2, 2026, elections for the Rector of the University were held at the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
After the completion of voting, the Central Election Commission consisting of Volodymyr Pavlov, Tetiana Herenok, Tetiana Yaroshevska, Ivan Kanfui, Alla Vilchynska and Karina Zinchenko has completed her work at the polling station and conducted the vote count.
Based on the processing of the election documentation, a final protocol of the voting results from the polling stations in Kyiv and Rivne was drawn up.
The election process was carried out in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation of Ukraine, the Charter of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and the Regulations on the Procedure for Conducting the Elections of the Rector of KUL NASU. Voting and counting of votes were conducted transparently, honestly, openly, and within the approved procedure.
As a result of a secret ballot, the rector of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine was elected Serhiy Vasylovych Matviyev.
The election results were announced by the head of the Central Election Commission, Volodymyr Pavlov.
