The Academic Council of KUL NASU awarded the title of ‘Honorary Doctor’ to Maksym Tymoshenko

On December 10, 2025, during a meeting of the Academic Council of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the issue of conferring the title was considered Honorary Doctor of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Doctor of Philosophy, Professor, Academician, Rector of the National Music Academy of Ukraine named after Pyotr Tchaikovsky To Maksym Tymoshenko.

The report was presented by the rector of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, professor Yuriy Boshytskyi. In his speech, he emphasized the significant contribution of Maksym Tymoshenko to the development of Ukrainian musical education, culture, and art, as well as his active public engagement and considerable scientific achievements. The long-standing and fruitful cooperation between KUL NASU and the National Music Academy of Ukraine was highlighted separately.

As a result of the discussion, the Academic Council unanimously supported the decision to confer upon Maksym Tymoshenko the honorary title of ‘Honorary Doctor of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine’.

Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine sincerely congratulates Maksym Olehovič on the high distinction and hopes for further active scientific and cultural-educational cooperation.
