Yesterday, a significant event took place in the scientific community — the International Scientific and Practical Conference «Risk, Governance, and Strategy in the Age of Artificial Intelligence», co-organized by Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
Participation in the International Scientific and Practical Conference ‘NWU 2026: Risks, Management, and Strategy in the AI Era’
Organized by New Western University (the USA) in cooperation with the:
- Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Science of Ukraine (Ukraine)
- International Economic Relations Department of State University “Kyiv Aviation Institute” (Ukraine)
- School of Economics of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University (Ukraine)
- AI Department of Lviv Polytechnic National University (Ukraine)
- Management Department of National Transport University (Ukraine)
Within the framework of the conference, she gave a special report Vice-Rector for Educational and Career Guidance Work, Academician of the UAN, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Professor NEW WESTERN UNIVERSITY (USA) – Hanna HURINA. The topic of the speech — «Women’s leadership in war–time: the ethics of responsibility and soft power/ Women’s Leadership During War: The Ethics of Responsibility and the Strategy of Soft Power — provoked keen interest among the international community.
Key points of the report:
- A new paradigm of leadership: The transition from rigid hierarchies to ‘strategic empathy’ and flexibility, which have become critically important for the survival and development of Ukrainian institutions.
- Women’s experience as an asset: How Ukrainian women, despite the challenges of the full-scale invasion, master extreme skills and become key drivers of change in government, business, and education.
- Leadership in the AI era: The role of emotional intelligence and facilitation in a world where technical processes are increasingly delegated to artificial intelligence.
The presentation was not only a showcase of scientific achievements but also a deep reflection based on personal experience of adapting to new challenges.
