The main election commission of KUL NASU produced ballots for the rector elections

The main election commission for the election of the rector of Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine carried out the production of ballots for voting in the election of the University rector.

The procedure took place in accordance with Regulations on the Procedure for Conducting the Election of the Rector of Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, which provides that ballots are prepared by the Election Commission within the specified time frame, in a quantity corresponding to the number of persons entitled to participate in the elections and included in the voter list. The provision also stipulates that the ballots are certified with the signatures of the Chairperson and Secretary of the Election Commission and sealed with the University’s seal, and that candidates and observers have the right to be present during their preparation.

Chairman of the Central Election Commission Volodymyr Pavlov started the procedure of producing election ballots. Observers were present during the relevant actions, which certifies the openness and transparency of the preparatory stage of the electoral process.

As part of the preparations for the voting, the Central Election Commission also prepared the electoral register. Ballots were prepared in the appropriate quantity in accordance with the approved list of persons entitled to participate in the election of the rector of KUL NASU.

After being printed, the ballots were properly sealed in a separate package, placed in the safe in the premises of the Central Election Commission, after which the safe was sealed in accordance with the established procedure. Personal responsibility for ensuring that the number of ballots matches the number of voters and for their safekeeping rests with the Chairman of the Election Commission.

The main election commission continues work on the organizational support of the elections for the rector of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, adhering to the requirements of current legislation, Methodical recommendations, and the internal regulations of the University.
