The Rector of KUL NASU held a meeting with the Acting Chargé d’Affaires of the Republic of Iraq in Ukraine, the Plenipotentiary Minister

Today, July 1, 2026, in the premises Embassies of the Republic of Iraq in Ukraine a working meeting took place with the rector of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, professor Yuriy Boshytskyi with the Chargé d’Affaires of the Republic of Iraq in Ukraine, the Plenipotentiary Minister Mr. Tareq Kazem.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for partnership between leading higher education institutions of the Republic of Iraq and KUL NASU, the establishment of an academic exchange program ‘Visiting Professor’ between higher education institutions, opportunities for attracting grants and scholarships for conducting joint scientific research, as well as the issue of training the teaching staff of the Republic of Iraq at KUL NASU.

The meeting took place in a constructive, friendly atmosphere and at a high professional level. As a result, the parties reached agreements on the development of further cooperation.

At the conclusion of the meeting, KUL NASU Rector Yuriy Boshytsky invited the Chargé d’Affaires of the Republic of Iraq in Ukraine, Minister Plenipotentiary Mr. Tarek Kazem, to the Kyiv University of Law to conduct a series of guest lectures for students and faculty, devoted to the history, culture, and contemporary development of his country, as well as current issues of international law.
