The Uzhhorod branch of KUL NASU held an open lesson for the students of Velykobereznianskyi Lyceum
In the Velykoberiznyanskyi Lyceum of the Uzhhorod district of Zakarpattia, another open lesson was held for senior students, organized by the Uzhhorod branch of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
At the beginning of the lesson, the head of the Uzhhorod branch Ivan Vashchynets He acquainted the graduates with the history of the establishment of the Kyiv University of Law, its close connections with the V.M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law, as well as with the advantages of the educational process at KUL NASU, in particular the opportunities for distance learning. The head of the Uzhhorod branch also shared his experience as an international lawyer and talked about interesting cases in international commercial arbitration courts in which he participated. During the speech, the high school students watched video materials about the scientific and academic life of the university.
Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure at our university Ivan Kanfui talked about the features of working in law enforcement agencies and the employment prospects after graduating from the Kyiv University of Law.
Presentation by a KUL NASU postgraduate student Dmytro Hryn was dedicated to the features of the legal profession. High school graduates learned about how modern lawyers work, what difficulties there are in their work, became acquainted with the operation of the domestic ‘Electronic Court’ system and examples of procedural documents, and even had the opportunity to watch a video recording of procedural actions in a criminal proceeding.
