Trip to the Faculty of Law of Uzhhorod National University within the framework of the academic mobility program

Five female students of the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education in the specialty 081 ‘Law’ Zinchenko Karina (1st year), Krasnyuk Diana, Krasnyuk Yeva, Strilchuk Tetiana, and Chumak Viktoriia (3rd year) since May 19, 2025, within the framework of the internal credit academic mobility program, they are at the Faculty of Law of Uzhhorod National University. The trip takes place in accordance with the Cooperation Agreement on the implementation of academic mobility programs dated September 1, 2024, concluded between the Faculty of Law of UzhNU and the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

The program provides for mastering the elective course ‘International Protection of National Minorities’, developed by a Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor Kotlyar Olha Ivanivna, the head of the Department of International Law of the Faculty of Law at Uzhhorod National University. The training is conducted in a blended (in-person and distance) format.

The coordinator of the program from KUL NASU is the head of the International Center for Legal and Socio-Economic Research of Central and Eastern European Countries of KUL NASU in the city of Uzhhorod Vashchynets Ivan Ivanovych.

Also, during their stay in Uzhhorod, KUL NASU students met with the Student Council of the Law Faculty of UzhNU as part of informal education.

“Equally important was the meeting with the student council of UzhNU, writes one of the participants of the academic mobility program, Tetyana Strilchuk. – We discussed the areas of activity of student self-governance, shared experiences in implementing initiatives, as well as the importance of involving students in the active life of the university. Such meetings are an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences, establish partnership connections, and find inspiration for new projects and joint initiatives.”

In-person studies at UzhNU will continue until May 22, 2025, after which students will return to KUL NASU and continue their studies in the academic mobility program in an online format.
