A scientific-practical seminar on the topic: ‘Challenges and Consequences of Modern Politics’ was held at KUL NASU

On April 12, 2023, a scientific-practical seminar on the topic was held at the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine: “Challenges and Consequences of Modern Politics”The event was organized by the head of the Department of General Theoretical Legal and Socio-Humanitarian Disciplines by Serhiy Matviyov with the participation of the Associate Professor of the Department of International Law and Sectoral Legal Disciplines Iryna Tolkachova.

The topic of the event was proposed by first-year students, and it was they who showed the greatest activity in preparing and conducting this scientific-practical seminar. Also, the independent choice of the topic explains the increased interest that was observed from the students.

During the scientific and practical seminar, first-year higher education students Maria Mudryk, Nazariy Korenchuk, Karina Markitan and Hlib Zharov prepared interesting reports with a historical and political analysis of the activities of well-known domestic politicians of today.

The presentations were illustrated with sufficiently informative slides and sparked lively discussions in the audience, accompanied by questions from the participants.

As a result of the scientific-practical seminar, the participants showed a desire to conduct events on this topic in the future. Therefore, Serhiy Matvieiev and Iryna Tolkachova decided to continue this type of work and outlined the prospects for holding similar events in the future.
