
An Open Day with graduates of Vinnytsia schools was held at KUL NASU
On May 4, 2023, at the university, there was Open Day in an online format. More than 100 school graduates from Vinnytsia region participated in the event, namely from Khmilnyk, Kalynivka, Pohrebyshche, Brailiv, and so on.
At the beginning of the meeting, all participants were welcomed by the rector of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, professor Yuriy Boshytskyi, who spoke about the history of the establishment and development of the university, about the advantages of studying for students at KUL NASU, and that the university’s scientific and teaching staff in their daily activities strive to instill in graduates a sense of national dignity, patriotism, justice, and an unceasing pursuit of new knowledge.
The head of the Department of International Law and Sectoral Legal Disciplines spoke about the features of studying at the university in the specialty 293 ‘International Law’ Oksana Khorvatova, which outlined the prospects of KUL NASU graduates.
The head of the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure spoke to the applicants with interesting reports Valeriy Andrusiv and his colleague, the head of the Department of General Theoretical Legal and Social-Humanitarian Disciplines Serhiy Matviev, who spoke about the qualitative composition of scientific and pedagogical staff, practitioners of judicial and law enforcement bodies, well-known lawyers who ensure the educational process at the university. A 4th-year university student Anastasia Mayorova shared with applicants information about an interesting and eventful life, about the advantages of studying at KUL NASU.
Responsible secretary of the admissions committee Ivan Kanfui He talked about the features of the legal profession, its importance for Ukraine today, and shared his 20 years of experience working as an investigator.
Vice-Rector for Academic and Methodological Work of the University Olena Antonova informed the attendees about the rules of the 2023 admission campaign and showed a video digest about Kyiv University of Law.
At the end of the online meeting, the head of the Vinnytsia Scientific and Consulting Center of KUL NASU spoke to the applicants. Yuriy Kovalchuk, who emphasized that the Kyiv University of Law conducts a regional policy in order to be as close as possible to the place of residence and work of its students. Therefore, studying at the KUL NASU structural unit in Vinnytsia allows students to obtain a university diploma without leaving the boundaries of their region.
Prospective applicants, during an online meeting with the university administration, received complete and comprehensive information about the features of the admission campaign at KUL NASU in 2023 and received answers to all the questions that concerned them.
