Bezzubov Dmytro Oleksandrovych

Department of International and Private Law

Doctor of Legal Sciences, Professor at the Department of International Law and Sectoral Legal Disciplines

In 2003, he graduated from the P. Konashevych-Sahaidachnyi Kyiv State Academy of Water Transport with a degree in Law. In 2008, he completed a master’s programme in the same field at the Academy of Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. He began teaching in 2004 as a lecturer at the Kyiv Optical and Mechanical Technical School. From 2005 to 2015, he taught legal disciplines at the A. Makarenko Kyiv Vocational Pedagogical College.

In 2010, he defended his Candidate of Legal Sciences dissertation in speciality 21.07.05, Service and Combat Activities of Law Enforcement Forces (Legal Sciences), titled “Legal Risk in the Service and Combat Activities of Law Enforcement Forces.”

He was awarded the academic title of associate professor in 2015. In 2016, he defended his dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Legal Sciences in speciality 12.00.07, administrative law and procedure; financial law; information law, titled “Organisational and Legal Foundations for Ensuring Public Safety.”

He is the author of more than 100 academic and teaching-methodological works on administrative, commercial, agrarian, and international law. These include the monograph “Public Safety: Organisational and Legal Foundations” and the co-authored textbook “Administrative Law of Ukraine,” approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (2013).

Research interests: theoretical issues of administrative, commercial, business, transport, and agrarian law, and administrative mechanisms for ensuring public and national security.
