Born on 20 September 1980 in Kyiv.
In 1997, graduated from Kyiv Specialised School No. 220, with advanced foreign-language study, completing full secondary education.
In 1997, entered the Faculty of Law of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, graduating with honours in 2003 with a Master of Law qualification.
From 1999 to 2001, studied at the Military Department of the Military Institute of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and was certified for appointment as a Reserve Justice Second Lieutenant.
From 2003 to 2007, undertook part-time postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Law of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
In 2010, defended at the National Academy of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine a dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Legal Sciences in specialty 12.00.09 — Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics; Forensic Examination; Operational and Investigative Activities, titled “Participation of Defence Counsel in a Ukrainian Criminal Trial Court of First Instance”.
He began his academic teaching career in 2003 as a Lecturer at the Department of Public Law of the College of Finance and Law of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. He subsequently served as an Associate Professor at the Institute of Continuing Education of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and at other higher education institutions. His total academic teaching experience exceeds 15 years.
Courses taught: Criminal Law of Ukraine; Criminal Enforcement Law of Ukraine; the Bar of Ukraine; Notarial Practice in Ukraine.
