Born on 4 April 1958 in Magdeburg, Germany.
Education
- In 1994, enrolled at Taras Shevchenko Kyiv University and, after graduating in 1999, received a Specialist diploma in Law and the qualification of lawyer;
- In 2004, defended a dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Legal Sciences in specialty 12.00.03 — Civil Law and Civil Procedure; Family Law; Private International Law, titled “Inheritance Relations in Notarial and Judicial Practice”;
- In 2009, the Attestation Board of the Ministry of Education and Science awarded him the academic title of Associate Professor of the Department of Civil-Law Disciplines;
- In 2016, the Attestation Board of the Ministry of Education and Science awarded him the academic title of Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure.
Since September 2023, Professor of the Department of International Law and Sectoral Legal Disciplines.
