The Academic Council has approved the Admission Rules to the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in 2024

On Monday, April 8, 2024, an extraordinary meeting of the Academic Council of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine took place. The agenda of the meeting included the most significant and current issues concerning both the ongoing and prospective activities of KUL NASU, the consideration of which falls within the competence of the Academic Council.

The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Academic Council of KUL NASU, the rector, professor Yuriy Boshytskyi, who greeted the members of the Academic Council and those present at the meeting. In his speech, the rector highlighted the most significant events and activities that had taken place at the university since the last meeting of the Academic Council and announced the list of items included in the agenda of the meeting, the most important of which was the issue of “On the approval of the Admission Rules to the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in 2024.

At the suggestion of the scientific secretary Valeria Andrusiv The question submitted for voting was regarding the inclusion in the composition of the Academic Council of KUL NASU (ex officio): the responsible secretary of the Admissions Committee of KUL NASU, PhD in Law, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure Ivana Kanfui.

A lively discussion at the meeting of the Academic Council was sparked by the issue dedicated to reviewing the collective appeal of RIKUL NASU and the results of the working visit of the KUL NASU administration to RIKUL NASU. In resolving this issue, the members of the Academic Council reached mutual understanding and identified ways for further cooperation.

Responsible Secretary of the Admissions Committee of KUL NASU Ivan Kanfui informed the members of the Academic Council about the career guidance activities at KUL NASU in the context of the upcoming admission campaign.

Director of RIKUL NASU Ivan Vetrov Reported information about the holding of the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference ‘Current Issues of Lawmaking in Modern Ukraine’ at the Rivne Institute.

The members of the Academic Council of KUL NASU did not overlook the proposals of the representatives of the student self-government of KUL NASU, having heard the information from the chairman of the student parliament Margarita Korolyova regarding the initiatives of the KUL NASU student parliament.

At the end of the meeting of the Academic Council, the rector, Professor of KUL NASU, spoke Yuriy Boshytskyi, who summed up the held meeting and wished the university staff perseverance in their professional self-improvement and in implementing the planned work objectives.
