   Background
   United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Regional Representation in Kyiv is looking for energetic, highly qualified and experienced persons for a position of Translator / Receptionist.
 
   Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality written translation into English, Ukrainian or Russian of outgoing and incoming correspondence, different working documents like minutes, press-releases, news articles, excerpts of legislation etc.
• Act as a switchboard operator, answer incoming calls, provide general information, transfer calls to concerned officer;
• When necessary, interpret oral conversations and during interviews;
• When necessary, assist with arranging meetings, and take minutes/notes with follow up translation into English, Ukrainian or Russian;
• Utilise office equipment.

   Perform other duties as required.
 
   Competencies
   Computer literacy and good typing speed.
 
   Required Skills and Experience

• Secondary education, excellent writing skills in English, Russian and Ukrainian are required for this position.
• At least 3 years of previous relevant experience.
